Congratulations! The first Palestinian film to ever win a Golden Globe; Paradise Now won best Foreign Film.
Although for a second the director forgot who gave him the award but no biggie.

We were so … amazed that they represented him as being FROM Palestine and he won, that I had to rewind it on the TiVo to play over for my husband. At the Oscars, it’s a little bit of a diff. story (re: Elia Suleiman and “Divine Intervention”).
