Okay, yes there is a fair amount…okay a mountain…of psychobabble out there. It’s a mixed bag right now in the coaching world and The Daily Show definitely found the sore spots. As Demetri says, don’t throw the baby out with the bath water though. If you want to get some perspective from someone on the other side of the equation (yeah, I’m a coach), I’ve picked apart a bit more why I think coaching was so deserving of this Trendspotting ‘honor’. I put an extensive post about it at my blog, the good, the bad and the ugly of it.
