No More iPods For Kim Jong
30Nov06
Last month, North Korea conducted a nuclear test. How does the US respond: banning iPods (which are probably manufactured in China, which is alright by China since it is the biggest lender to the US war on Iraq).
The US is now targeting the lifestyle of North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-il and the families of his supporters. Banning items such as iPods, plasma televisions, cognac, Rolex watches and artwork…basically all the things that only Kim Jong-il and his close friends can afford.
So why did Iraq have to go through a decade of oil-for-food where thousands of civilians, women and children, died of starvation and malnutrition while Saddam built palaces?
The answer: iPods weren’t around back then.
