Its not like we Jordanians live on Shawarma and depend on it to the degree that its become an essential part of the life of the average jordanian, Shawarma isn’t exactly the poor man’s food. So there’s no more Chicken Shawarma, Boohoo, So what! I seriously doubt the Jordanian economy will be crippled by this decision, As i am sure the vast majority of the Jordanian poplulation will not be affected drastically by this decision, they most certainly arn’t going to die of hunger because of it. as for the businesses that were affected by this decision they can still sell meat shawarma, as for the restaurants the depends only and solely on chicken shawarma (and I don’t know if there are such places), well, bad luck, sometimes sacrifices have to be made for the greater good, which is in this case the well being of the public.
