I seem to remember that it was Israel which saved Jordan from being invaded by Syrian armoured brigades on Sept 20 1970,when the Syrian columns retreated back to Syrian border after Israeli warplanes did some areial dives on them warning the Syrians not to interfer at their peril in the civil war going on at that time in Jordan

Do You really think that we should support the US funding because these funds are protecting Jordan by strengthening Israeli army!!!!!!!!!!!!
Because “I seem to Remember” that the Israelis used their weapons and military many times since 1970, and it was not only some maneuvers and dives!!
This is all so misguided. We are cursed always to fight the last war. There was an interesting article about this in the LA Times recently.
