Readers Is Having A Big Sale

Readers is having a big sale. A bunch of books throughout the store are wrapped in a red ribbon, which means they’re 50% off and you can score some pretty cheap deals. For about 30JDs I got about 5 books, including a hardcover copy of Alan Greenspans’ The Age of Turbulance (total of 11JDs), which I’ve been wanting to read for a while. So if you’re looking to get ahead on your summer reading, do check it out.

I looove Readers… Love love love Readers!!!
I loved its manager and his vision.. one of the methods to get more people reading was by giving permission for a book club on facebook to be created by the name of Readers Book Club..
The idea is to get every one to read…not more not less…
The members would pick one book each month and read it, discuss it,interact together so it would give us all more motive for reading.. members of the book club will be buying the book of the month at cost price!!!

I was thinking that maybe after we all read the book of the month and discuss it thoroughly maybe we could find a way to write our review as a book club members and publish it with Reader’s name. As to support and promote both the book and Readers… I remember you used to write at some magazine.. care to join and help?!
