Farah, who has been a reader of The Black Iris for some time now, started her own blog early last month. I am astonished to see that in about 30 days, this very young woman has become quite the issues blogger, which is why I’m plugging her blog here: Observations of a Jordanian, because I think it’s worth a read.
Meanwhile, as a new blog is emerging another one is saying goodbye. Batir Wardam, one of the most prominent Jordanian issue-bloggers around has said farewell to politics with a new intention to transform his blog into a more personal space.
While I respect Batir’s decision and empathize with his point of view, I hope he will one day soon succumb to the temptation that is politics, and return in full force.

Oh! Thank you so much Nas!
I can’t believe people actually like what I have to say. Don’t you think I’m feeling any pressure now, not at all. Excuse me while I go throw up.
