New members have been added to the board of Jordan’s Higher Youth Council in an effort to revitalize it. I’m 99% sure that none of them are under the age of 50.
Sigh.

Didn’t er learn in the geography book (the demography part) that anyone between the age of 18 and 63 falls in the “youth” category?

طيب سؤال ثاني، ليش معظم الاختيارات جاءت من موظفين حكوميين في مناصب عليا؟ يعني أعيان ورؤساء تحرير صحف ووزراء سابقين وأمناء عامين!!! هل هؤلاء متفرغين للشباب ويعون قضاياهم؟ ألا يوجد حاملي شهادات عليا في الجامعات مختصين بالشباب وحاجاتهم؟
بعدين شو هالمجلس اللي كل سنتين بتغير؟؟ يعني متى بلحقوا يخططوا ويبدأوا بالدراسات وينفذو لحتى يستقيلوا؟

المجلس بتركيبته الجديدة “القديمة” يعكس تخيل ديناصوري منقرض لشكل الحركة الشبابية والوجوه الرسمية التي يجب ان تكون على تماس معها! فالمجلس يصلح لكونه مجلس بلدي لبلدية ام غريسا وام الصليح بأحسن حال….ـ
لا أعرف متى سيتم الإقرار بالجسم الشبابي الأردني والتعامل معه بعيداً عن منطق الوصاية البغيض، الأردن فيها خبراء في التنمية الشبابية من الشباب يتم الأستعانة بخبراتهم على مستويات أقيمية ودولية ولكن الى الآن يبقى المجلس ومقدراته وميزانيته ضحية اشخاص بيروقراطيين حتى النخاع. ديناميكية الجسم الشبابي الأردني بحاجة الى إدارة مرنة وعصرية لهذا الملف المهم والإ فسيبقى المجلس يجلس على ثروة حقيقية من البنى التحتية لقاء فراغ حقيقي في البنية التحتية للعقول التي تديره!!!ـ
