Fellow Jordanian blogger, Ahmad Humeid is helping to kick start a spur-of-the-moment get together at the First Circle on New Years Eve. It’s going to be pretty interesting I think. It’s the anti-event that you won’t see being promoted in a newspaper or on the radio, but over the Internet and through word of mouth. No cover charge, no minimum orders, just people in warm coats and the cobblestone of Amman’s Rainbow Street beneath their feet.
How will we usher in the New Year? Well we might not have New York’s giant apple in Time Square so we’ll have to depend on that Jordanian ingenuity! Exchange ideas! Start a conversation! And, in the words of Ahmad: be creative!
Spread the word!
p.s. dress warmly. and if you’re coming by car, my advice is for you to park a bit further away and come walking. enjoy the night air!
UPDATE: Take a Look!
